About Me
We are meant to do life WITH people.
Over the past several years, I have walked through life learning this exact principle. We are not meant to do life alone. As I share resources and wisdom, I also want to intentional and directly invest into the lives of others.
The coaching services I offer are a chance to do that.
A Life Worth Remark is about intentional living. It is about living on purpose, with purpose. It is about establishing principles for your life and then living by them. It is about seeking a community that helps you do that. It is about choosing to be counter-cultural sometimes.
I hope to live a remarkable life, a life that is worthy of remarks. I believe that a remarkable life, a life worth remark, is a life of principle and a life of impact.
Personal Coaching - I have benefited greatly from the investment of others into my life. I can point to multiple people who have served as a mentor for me. Over the past 7 years, I have played the role of mentor, coach, and/or supervisor for more than 40 people ranging in ages. Some of those relationships even turned into deep friendships. Without someone intentionally and directly pouring into my life, offering me support and wisdom even when I did not know I needed it, I would not be who I am today.
The personal coaching services are a great option for someone looking for direction in life, going through a transition period or season of grief, or any 17-25 year old. Schedule a free consultation today to see if we might be a good fit!
Financial Coaching - I want to see people in a place of financial stability and freedom. I do not want to tell you what to do; I want to equip you to handle your money in a way that makes you confident. We live in a highly undisciplined culture. People do not have a plan for their spending, and sometimes allow other people to spend their money for them. Unfortunately, there is a bit of shame tied to this as well. I prioritize a no-judgement conversation that opens the door for accountability in order to develop discipline.
I taught myself to budget with some coaching from friends in 2016. Since then, our family has worked diligently to handle our personal finance with discipline, diligence, gratitude, and contentment. We paid off almost 90k in student debt in just over 3 years, and now my wife has the opportunity to stay home with our kids while I bring home a modest salary. Recently I completed the Ramsey Financial Master Training to more effectively help others move towards stability and freedom. My Story
My mother died of cancer when I was just 5 years old, and her death led me to my faith in Jesus. Growing up, I was taught that a strong work ethic was the greatest asset a person could have in life.
Though I claimed it before, I truly started living for my faith in 2012. I wanted to learn and grow, and figure out how to serve people well. I went through a season of mistakes, grief, and asking for forgiveness.
My wife and I began dating in 2013 and have been together since. Our priorities in life are our faith and our family; everything else comes after that.
I began the pursuit of intentional living in 2019 after a season of darkness and depression. I realized that I just want to live a life of impact and purpose.
I worked in higher education for 7 years, starting with student engagement and ending up as a Vice President of Student Life. I have since moved on from higher education and entered the business world as a fleet manager for a regional trucking company.
I enjoy doing anything competitive, sports-related, and recently got into Spartan Races. I am terrible at texting and I hate mustard. On average, I read 2-3 books a month, and I have read more than 80 books in the past 3 years.
I definitely do not have it all figured out, but I am figuring it out.
